Splash and Swim!
Celebrate the joys of the spring season, early, with a swim in the warm pool water, right at your home.
Although the weather is still cool around September if you love the idea of a swim in a warm pool while it’s 14° outside, a solar pool heater makes it happen!
HOW SOLAR POOL HEATING EXTENDS THE SWIMMING SEASON FROM EARLY SPRING?
A reliable and cost-efficient alternative to gas pool heaters or electric pool heat pumps, solar pool heaters extend the swimming season. Here is what makes them so popular.
HIGHER HEAT RETENTION WITH 33% MORE TUBES IN SOLAR PANELS
Unlike traditional loose strip system that was susceptible to weather and strong winds of exposed solar heat systems, high-quality solar pool heating systems come with enclosed solar panels. These are held together with a unique interlocking system and are specially designed to retain the maximum heat possible.
The high-quality absorber material of pool heating tubes is made of black (High-density polyethylene) HDPE. It is enclosed in a compact panel which protects them from heat loss from wind and makes them highly energy efficient. Next-generation solar pool heating systems use Thermo tube panels that have the durability and the ability to withstand the harsh Australian environment.
While most solar pool heating panels usually carry 60 tubes/ sqm, Thermo tube technology has 80 tubes in every square meter which is approximately 33% more than most other systems. They are designed to allow the sun to heat the absorber from the surface and the underside via reflection.
45% HIGHER EFFICIENCY TO SAVE TIME AND MONEY
A solar pool heating collector’s efficiency and size is the single most important factor in warming the pool’s water temperature. Thus higher the diameter of the pool heating tubes in the collector, the better. Next-generation solar pool heaters like Thermo Pools come with pool heating tubes that have an 8mm external diameter, which is recommended by the Commonwealth Industrial and Scientific Research Organization (CSIRO) as the most efficient size for Australian conditions. Thus, you have a pool of warm water to dive into, whenever you need, even in early spring.
AUTOMATIC FLOW METER FOR MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY
Next-generation solar pool heaters come with a digital flow meter. These have an automatic temperature control valve and sensor to maximize solar heat collection. Quick, easy and accurate, it helps to set the desired temperature of your pool water. The differential temperature controller guides the timing of the water flows into the solar pool heating system. Thus, increases the flow, when there is sufficient sunlight and shuts the diversion when the likelihood of heating the water is either not enough or not needed. Thus, it ensures you a warm pool any time of the year, even in early spring.
FLEXIBLE, COMPACT AND BETTER AESTHETICS WITH NO DAMAGE TO YOUR ROOF
While most solar pool heaters require holes to be drilled on the roof of your home, Thermo Pools solar pool heaters eliminate the need to use glue or drill holes through roof tiles. It only requires some hook fasters to set up Thermo Pools solar pool heater panels on your roof. These come with a full 15-year warranty and a warranty against Cockatoo damage too.
