Need Solar Pool Heating System or Heating Pump for Swimming Pool?
The solar heating system utilizes the sun’s energy to heat and supply hot water. In recent times, installing a solar pool heating system is a wise option as it reduces your electricity consumption and helps you to save on your overall maintenance costs to maintain your swimming pool to provide you with warm water all year round thereby extending your swimming season.
No doubt, purchasing the cost of a solar pool heating system is on the higher side, but once the installments are paid for, you will reap the benefits for several years as it will significantly reduce your energy bills month after month. Thus your savings will be considerable.
On the other hand, swimming pool heat pump doesn’t generate heat instead they utilize electricity to accrue heat and pass it from one location to another. As the swimming pool water is being circulated by the pool pump, the water absorbed from the pool moves via the heat pump heater and a filter. A fan is inbuilt inside the heat pump heater that absorbs the outside air and sends it over the evaporator coil. The heat from the outer air is absorbed by the liquid refrigerant that is inside the evaporator coil and produces gas. Then after, the warm gas within the coil goes through the compressor. The compressor elevates the heat which generates a very hot gas that moves through the condenser. The heat accrued from the hot gas is transferred by the condenser to the cooler pool water which is circulated via the heater. Then after, the heated water goes back into the pool. The entire procedure starts again, when the hot gas flows via the condenser coil, takes the liquid form again and goes back to the evaporator.
